Todd Isherwood

Todd has been sailing Boston Harbor and the Charles River for nearly 30 years. He is a graduate of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy and Northeastern University. Todd holds a 100 Ton Captains License with sailing and towing endorsements. As a member of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary, Todd is boat crew qualified and also serves as the senior assistant lighthouse keeper at Boston Light. Other interests include fishing and camping on the Harbor Islands. Todd is married and has lived in the North End for 25 years. Steve Wilson

Steve first joined the BSC Staff as an Instructor in 2017. With a history for both team and program building, Steve has a penchant for helping sailors find success asea; whatever their role aboard!
When not at the BSC, you’ll find Steve sailing anywhere from Maine to Sint Maarten. A member of several successful racing programs, Steve also enjoys Coastal Cruising and Caribbean Frostbiting!

Jonathan Kannair

Joining BSC as a member in 1995, Jonathan has been a BSC instructor for seven seasons. Jonathan believes that anyone can become an accomplished sailor and appreciates that sailing is a physical and intellectual challenge you can do for life. Working with new sailors and helping them to gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to pursue their sailing adventures is something he especially enjoys doing at BSC.

Pete Whinn does startup business stuff for a 9-5 grind but spends evenings and weekends (and the occasional beautiful weekday afternoon, don’t tell his boss) teaching Learn to Sail at the Boston Sailing Center.
