Scott Kline

Scott recently joined the Boston Sailing Center’s instructor team. He grew up in a sailing family in Sydney, Australia, and has been on the water for as long as he can remember. He has competed in numerous offshore yachting events over the years, including several Sydney Hobart races.

Scott moved to Boston in 2008 and spent 12 years volunteering as a sailing instructor, along with 9 years serving on the Board of Community Boating on the Charles River. For the past 6 years, he has been sailing cruising boats out of Boston Sailing Center and continues to race regularly in Wednesday night series and summer regattas out of Marblehead, including two Marblehead-to-Halifax ocean races.

When he’s not on the water, Scott enjoys birding throughout New England.
