Rick Guardia

Rick Guardia is an experienced and dedicated sailing instructor who has been a BSC member since 1997. When he first joined BSC he took the Learn to Sail, advanced sailing, racing, and advanced racing classes, and he quickly discovered his passion for racing sailboats.  He has competed in the Tuesday and Thursday Soling racing and frostbiting J24 fleets for many years as both a skipper and crew.  He has taken firsts in both fleets and match racing at BSC.

Rick’s passion for sailing is contagious, and he inspires his students to develop a deep love and respect for the sport. Whether you’re a beginner looking to learn the basics or an experienced sailor seeking to improve your skills, Rick is the perfect instructor to help you achieve your goals.
