Ned Palmer

Ned is a sailor, and sailing instructor at Boston Sailing Center. When not at BSC, he’s also a pediatrician at Boston Children’s Hospital. He grew up racing sailboats in the Great Lakes, and has been working in boat yards and marinas since childhood, including doing dockwork and boat deliveries while in medical school. His longest passage was a transatlantic delivery from the Caribbean to France. You can find him living on his boat – Extra Mile – in the Boston Harbor Shipyard.
