Mike Wenzke

Mike graduated from the University of Albany with a double major in Political Science and American History, and later earned his Master’s in Ethics & Public Policy from Suffolk University. When he’s not sharing Boston’s rich history on his walking tours, you can find him on the docks keeping boats in shipshape or lending a hand with heavier projects around the BSC. Mike jumps at every chance to sail – whether it’s a course, a cruise, or a casual afternoon on the water. Outside of BSC, he enjoys exploring the Boston area on foot and spending quality time with his wife and two daughters.

Jonathan Kannair

Joining BSC as a member in 1995, Jonathan has been a BSC instructor for seven seasons. Jonathan believes that anyone can become an accomplished sailor and appreciates that sailing is a physical and intellectual challenge you can do for life. Working with new sailors and helping them to gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to pursue their sailing adventures is something he especially enjoys doing at BSC.
