Mike, hailing from Farmington, Connecticut, has been at the BSC for over fifteen years. He taught sailing on Lasers and Sunfish for eight years, and has since sailed in Ireland, Scotland, the Grenadines… and Connecticut. Mike dabbles in every aspect of the BSC – he started working in the office, but now you’ll see him running races all season. Mike can also quote any line from Caddyshack as needed. When not sailing, Mike enjoys skiing and resting on his laurels for being the only Parrothead on staff.

Michael “Zichael” Zulch joined the Sailing Center in 2025. He first began sailing on the Charles River in 2010 before upgrading to his own boat, a 17-foot O’Day Day Sailer
