Mike grew up in Rhode Island and started boating with his family at a young age. After graduating from URI with Industrial Engineering Degree, he moved to the Boston area and joined the Boston Sailing Center as a Mid-range member in 1992.
Mike holds a US Coast Guard Masters License and is ASA certified to teach Learn to Sail (ASA101), Advance (ASA102), Coastal Cruising (ASA103), Coastal Navigation (ASA104) and Bareboat Cruising (ASA105).
You can find him doing race committee on Thursday night Soling Series, racing on the Tuesday night Soling Series and Frostbite Racing on J-24 during the winter.
