Michelle was born and raised in Massachusetts. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a degree in psychology. While at BSC, you can find her managing the busy office, helping members and students, and taking care of the ailing riverboat plants. Out of the office, you can find her clicking into skis, rock climbing, hiking, or traveling the world. She also likes to run and ran the Boston marathon in 2019. She gets out on the water every chance she gets.

Jonathan Kannair
Joining BSC as a member in 1995, Jonathan has been a BSC instructor for seven seasons. Jonathan believes that anyone can become an accomplished sailor and appreciates that sailing is a physical and intellectual challenge you can do for life. Working with new sailors and helping them to gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to pursue their sailing adventures is something he especially enjoys doing at BSC.
