Michael “Zichael” Zulch joined the Sailing Center in 2025. He first began sailing on the Charles River in 2010 before upgrading to his own boat, a 17-foot O’Day Day Sailer named The Spiced Rhumb, in 2016, which he sailed for many seasons on Pleasant Bay in Cape Cod. His maritime experience also includes working for a boat carpenter in Chatham, MA, preparing classic wooden boats such as Beetlecats and Whistlers for the waters of Chatham.
At the Sailing Center, Michael can usually be found launching groups onto their next adventure, getting boats ready for cruise weeks, or fixing whatever problems they return with. If you need a hand or just a cheerful “wahoo,” you’ll find him down on the docks.
