Martha Rand

Martha is a student at Dartmouth College who grew up in Ipswich, MA. Before coming to the Boston Sailing Center, she worked at the Southport Yacht Club in Maine where she would spend weekends racing her family’s J-27 or her pink and purple turnabout named Dazzle. When she’s not sailing in Boston harbor or in Maine, Martha can be found sailing in Gloucester where she team raced dinghies in high school. Martha enjoys talking about all things sailing– cruising, one-design racing, or offshore sailing– as well as conversations about music, coffee, Gen Z, or how her liberal arts degree will be applicable in the “real world.”
