Jonathan Kannair

Joining BSC as a member in 1995, Jonathan immediately fell in love with sailing at BSC. He’s been crew and skipper during frostbite racing and Soling racing at BSC. He really enjoys cruising too! Jonathan believes passionately that anyone can become an accomplished sailor and thinks of sailing as both a physical and intellectual challenge, you can do for life and which constantly evolves, with new things to learn and skills to master at every tack and jibe. Working with new sailors and helping them to gain the knowledge, skills and confidence to pursue their own sailing adventures is something that he is especially excited to be doing at BSC.

He holds a US Coast Guard Captain’s License, 50 ton with auxiliary sail and assistance towing endorsements and is an American Sailing Association (ASA) Certified Instructor through the Coastal Navigation (105) level.
