Geoff Rand

Geoff wrote the BSC’s online cruising guide, and is a great person to approach with any questions you may have about cruising in the New England area. In the 2005 and the 2006 Marblehead to Halifax Ocean Race, Geoff finished first in his class. When not racing, Geoff, his wife Anne, and daughter Martha enjoy sailing their J27 in Maine. While Geoff has been with the Center since the early 90’s, these days you can find him heading up our Coastal Navigation courses and teaching our students all the fundamental skills of navigating in New England waters.
