Dave Bryan

David joined the staff in 1988 as an instructor and returned the following season as the head instructor. After many seasons of running the instructional program he became the general manager of the BSC.

David grew up sailing on Greenwood Lake in NJ and taught at the local sailing school. In college he was a member of the Northeastern University sailing team and still enjoys racing Lasers and J-24s. His sailing honors include winning the US Sailing Men’s Championship (Mallory Cup) as tactician in 2002.

During the winter he teaches the Cruising Course in the Caribbean and frostbites J/24s at the BSC.

Before coming to the Boston Sailing Center, she worked at the Southport Yacht Club in Maine where she would spend weekends racing her family’s J-27 or her pink and purple turnabout named Dazzle.
