Brendan Drummond

Brendan Drummond, a Winchester, Massachusetts native, brings youthful enthusiasm and a wealth of sailing experience to the Boston Sailing Center team. Having navigated the waters of Mystic Lake since the late 2014s and honed his skills racing 420s in Marblehead, Brendan is well-versed in the intricacies of sailing. When he’s not busy as a launch driver or dock worker, he can be found indulging his passions for history, video games, and skiing. An avid lover of the outdoors and water enthusiast, Brendan enjoys spending time with his beloved golden doodle, Daisy. Currently, he’s preparing to embark on his freshman journey at the University of Vermont.

Philip Zurek

Philip brings sailing experience from an unexpected location: Colorado! He arrived in Boston on the first nice spring day of 2018, went straight to the sailing center, and has been enjoying all that the area has to offer since then. When not cruising around, you can find him teaching (since 2021), Soling racing in the summer, and Frostbite racing in the winter. His goal is to share his knowledge and passion for sailing with every student.
