Billy joined BSC at the start of the 2024 season and is looking forward to helping sailors, new and experienced, progress along their learning voyage!
Billy started sailing over 30 years ago in Boston. He has experience sailing all along the Eastern Seaboard from Canada to Florida. Billy has also sailed in the waters of San Diego, Bermuda, The Caribbean, and The Mediterranean.
ASA qualified to instruct 101, 103, 104, 105, 106, 114 & 118, he loves sailing and teaching.
Mike grew up in Rhode Island and started boating with his family at a young age. After graduating from URI with Industrial Engineering Degree, he moved to the Boston area
Eliza grew up sailing at BSC with her family and joined the dock staff in 2018.
David joined the staff in 1988 as an instructor and after many seasons of running the instructional program he became the general manager of the BSC.
Philip brings sailing experience from an unexpected location: Colorado! He arrived in Boston on the first nice spring day of 2018, went straight to the sailing center, and has been enjoying all that the area has to offer since then. When not cruising around, you can find him teaching (since 2021), Soling racing in the summer, and Frostbite racing in the winter. His goal is to share his knowledge and passion for sailing with every student.
