Mid-Range

Sail our J/24’s and J/27’s for daysailing, overnights, and for an extended cruise of up to three days. Use of Daysailing fleet included.

As a member of the Boston Sailing Center, you’ll enjoy more time on the water than most boat owners – and at far less cost. Membership entitles you to unlimited sailing during the regular season with no additional cost for boat usage. The Center’s low member-to-boat ratio ensures optimal boat availability throughout the season. And our proven record of excellent boat maintenance is second to none.

Prerequisites:

Advanced Course or equivalent experience. on-the-water checkout and written navigation test; Night Sailing course or equivalent experience for sailing past sunset.

shared Memberships

A shared membership is ideal for a group of 2 or 3 people who usually sail together, but who each want the benefits of membership. Once you have purchased a full year Mid-Range membership, up to two friends may join under the same plan for just 50% of the membership fee per person. The group sharing a membership may use only one boat at a time. Call the office to add shares to your membership. See Policies and Procedures for complete reservation details. 

Membership Renewal Discount

One of the many benefits of membership at the Boston Sailing Center is that active Daysailing, Mid-Range, Cruising 30, 35, and 40 members receive 10% off membership renewals. Discount applied in cart once logged in with your member credentials (if you do not know your credentials – contact the BSC, do not create another account). Must be purchased before current membership expiration date to receive discount.
