Seminars

Are you looking to add to your repertoire of knots or practice docking? Continue your sailing education with our Seminars and Workshops.

Learn to Sail Student Member Clinic

Have you completed your Learn to Sail course but want more coaching before sailing on your own?

Student Member clinics are a great way to get out on the water with other recent learn to sail graduates and practice your skills to become a more confident sailor. Sign up through the office to join us on a Friday evening from 5-8pm. We will form teams of 2 or 3 and go for a sail in the inner harbor. There will be an instructor coaching from one of the motor boats who will offer guidance on rigging, sail trim, and returning to the mooring.

There is no cost for this program but you must have an active student membership to participate. Contact the office to set up your student membership once you have completed your Learn to Sail course. We will see you on the water soon!

Dates TBD.

Knots and Lines Clinic

Are you knot confident in your knot tying? Members and crew can join a knot seminar to practice with a Boston Sailing Center instructor. Tighten up your skills on your basic sailing knots and maybe try some new ones to impress your crew!

Should we throw you another line? On the docks, you will practice critical line handling skills to make your sailing experience the best it can be!

We hope you can join us for this special opportunity.

Dates TBD.
