The Reggae Party and Island Race is back for another year and we can’t wait to celebrate the season with you on Saturday, August 6th! For members wanting to race, the party will be preceded by an Island Race beginning at 4pm, open to all boats in the fleet. Not looking to race? No problem! Just sign up for a party ticket and we will see you at 7pm. The party will be catered by the Jamaica Mi Hungry food truck, feature the AMAZING Conscious Reggae Band (back by popular demand!) and of course have an OPEN BAR.
This is a great, informal day of racing followed by a party back at the Riverboat with your fellow racers.
The online sign-up is for the party after the race. To skipper a boat in the race make a boat reservation for the 6th from 2:00-7:00PM and inform the office that you will be racing. You are responsible for providing your own crew, so refer to our crew finder in the online clubhouse if you need an extra hand or two or six!
Tickets are $75 before 5pm on July 24th and include food and open bar. Current members and students can bring guests to this event. You can purchase just one ticket online, or multiple by calling 617-227-4198. Ticket prices will increase to $85 after 5pm on the 24th, so sign up early!
Not planning on racing? No problem! Purchase a party ticket, and we’ll see you at 7pm for food, live music, and much deserved revelry.
