You’ll need two pieces of line or rope. They can be different materials or sizes. The sheet bend is typically used to attach two pieces of rope together to form one line; often used to attach sheets to sails.
Step By Step:
- Make a U-shaped loop with Line A.
- Grab Line B and pass it through the U-shaped loop.
- When Line B is up out of the U-shaped loop, wrap it around both “legs” of Line A and tuck it under itself.
- Pull both ends of the lines.
