The Hanse 415 features a self tacking jib. The sheet and other control lines lead aft to the cockpit coamings near the helm. This arrangement, along with the electric winches, make sail handling a breeze.
The twin carbon wheels combined with rod link steering system gives the boat an extremely responsive helm. The sail plan has plenty of power but it’s easy to reduce sail with the one line reefing system. The cockpit has teak covered seats and the transom folds out to make a swim platform.
Down below the three cabin layout is well ventilated and bright thanks to the use of white laminates in the bulkheads. The galley features a fridge with both top and front access. The settee in the main salon can be converted to a double bunk. The aft head has a separate shower stall.
Cruising 40 members can daysail and overnight the hanse 415, and take it for extended cruises of up to 7 days.
