If you're looking for a series of courses tailored to meet your specific sailing ambitions, the Boston Sailing Center offers a number of Macro Programs. Whether you're looking to charter in the Caribbean and beyond, buy your first sailboat, or join the racing community, the Boston Sailing Center has the Macro Program to take you from beginner to success - all at a substantial savings.

Macros combine sequential courses and Student Memberships to give you the instruction and hands-on experience you'll need to achieve your goals. Students enrolled in Macro Programs have the full choice of course formats and start dates available to all students. However, only students in Macro Programs receive a FREE 45-Day Student Membership affording you the opportunity to practice what you've learned between courses of the Macro Program (refundable security deposit required; some restrictions apply).

Macro Mid-Range Cruising - Click for Details & Pricing
Combines Learn to Sail, Advanced, and Night Sailing Courses. If you're planning on cruising local waters, or thinking of purchasing an outboard-powered cruising boat, this program is the perfect place to begin. 16 hours of classroom instruction, 42 hours sailing.

Macro Cruising - Click for Details & Pricing
Combines Learn to Sail, Advanced, and Cruising Courses. This charter preparation and certification program gives you all the skills and experience you need to comfortably handle larger, inboard powered sailboats. 18 hours classroom, 87 hours sailing.

Macro Coastal Passage Making - Click for Details & Pricing
Combines Learn to Sail, Advanced, Cruising, and Coastal Passage Making Courses. Offers the thorough foundation of sailing and seamanship you need to confidently cruise or charter throughout the world. 20 hours classroom, 191 hours sailing.

Combines Learn to Sail, Advanced, and Racing Courses. Provides the skills you need to race successfully in a one-design fleet. 24 hours classroom, 55 hours sailing.
