C&C 40

The C&C 40, Invictus, is a powerful, seaworthy yacht set up for offshore sailing. She has won the Newport-Bermuda and the Annapolis-Bermuda offshore races.

She has a large private stateroom forward, enclosed head, hanging locker, two settees in the main cabin and double and single quarterberths aft on the port and starboard side respectively. She is a pleasure to cruise with a large, efficient galley, plenty of storage in beautiful mahogany lockers, three opening cabin top hatches and two dorades for ventillation.

The cockpit is huge, with a 48" elkhide covered wheel and comfortable seating for six. With most of the sail controls leading aft, she is remarkably easy to sail.

Cruising 40 members enjoy sailing Invictus to Maine, Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket on their week long cruises.
